leisa2003
Hi, I need to try to find out what is good for dry scalp. My dh, in the winter has such a problem with dry skin and scalp.Anyone know what helps with this? I have tried about everything over the counter, and nothing seems to be helping. ah-soy
How about just some good ole' shea butter (unrefined would be best I think)?
leisa2003
Would I just rub the shea butter on his head? Thanks!!
arkangel
How about a hot oil treatment massaged into hair & scalp?
BLSoaps
I've heard Jojoba Oil is supposed to be very good for this, especially with a little bit of Rosemary EO mixed in. Rub it into the scalp, leave on as long as you can, then use a natural shampoo to rinse it out.
singleyellowrose
I just did this for my daughter and it worked great.I used about 1/4c olive oil and added about 4TB Emu.Warmed it slightly and poured it on. Massaged it in and wrapped her head in a warm towel for about 15 mintues. After a couple of washings, no more dry scalp. You could probably add a bit of lavender or rosemary EO. I didn't as she is 10 and i didn't feel it was necessary for her.
