missmaudie
Hello everyone-I have been making CP soap for the past year and I wish I had found these message boards earlier! There is so much great information available here PLUS it's always nice to talk to others that share an interest.I have been giving my soap to family and friends to try out and overall have received positive feedback. I would like to try ( I think ) a small craft show to start selling my soaps. That said, here's my question for all of you-How did you know when you were ready to start selling your products at craft shows, etc...?I know it will be different for everyone but thought it might be interesting to hear your experiences.Cheers-Tammi
SoapDiva
When people threw money at me and badgered me into beleiving I make some awesome stuff. It took a long time, even after I started selling to realize that yes, I do indeed make some awesome stuff. BLSoaps
My husband gave me an ultimatum... Start selling stuff or stop buying stuff. Since I was just barely starting my addiction, the choice was obvious. SELL SELL SELL!
RobinInOR
I knew I was ready to sell when I was confident that I could reproduce a soap over and over without major problem. And be able to recognize when a problem occured and what caused it. That told me I had the techniques down and could go forward with "going public".
