shaya
I was wondering if anyone has bought ng mrs claus cookie lately. i opened a new bottle of fo and went to work. When i added the fo to my wax there was this awful smell i cant even explain i said to my husband how would you explain that smell he said i dont even know. Maybe like a chemical smell???? I have had some returns on this scent. I am using the same batch of wax the same way as the previous bottle. With the previous bottle it was wonderful. I emailed ng today to see what i could find out this is the only scent doing this and i poured a few different scents. Any one know what would be going on. Or do you think it was just this batch. Patience
That is strange, huh? Maybe it is just a bad batch. I'm sure NG will do the right thing. I've always found their customer service to be excellent. Let us know how it turns out.
peppermint
Last I ordered it was in December and it is fine(just smelled it again). I did have the same thing happen with Ginger Peach from them. I am afraid to order more since the big bottle I have stinks so bad. I do really like their oils and have had very few problems. MissyK
How much FO did you use? Sometimes, I find especially with vanilla type scents that if you use even a tad bit too much fo in your candle, it will give you a fuel like burnt smell. This has happened to me recently with some candles with vanilla scents. I have that FO and what you can do is try it in a tart and that will tell you if the fo is bad or not. With vanillas, I go with 1oz per pound. Hope this helps!
