cleanglow
I have a jar that needs double wicking, but the RRD 29's that I tested are a little too much. I thought I'd try some LX's but I can't find anything longer than 2 1/2 inches in the 8's. Please help if you can. I know I can get them custome made, but I don't want to purchase bulk amounts without knowing if they'll even work.Jenn

As far as I know, Bittercreek carries them in 6 inches as do some other places I saw but can't remember who they are now. I just got received them this week from BCN because I could not find the 2 1/2 inch. I did not want to order yet from Candlewic and needed them fast. Holly
P.S. When you click on the wick section at BCN (LX button), they are listed at the bottom...not sure why.....should be right before the LX 10 because they list from small to large. Holly
Another P.S. Depending on the jar, the LX 8's may be a little small. I use them in tealights for my hard to wick oils, but not sure how they would do in a jar that requires two wicks. I am not sure what size your jar is that you want to double wick so I can't say for sure. You may want to get some other sizes up to try too. I am a RRD user in my double wicked jars but not sure how the 29's would compare to the LX 8's (I know bigger but not sure how much bigger). I have never been able to use the 29's for my wicking....too small. But, your variables are different. Good luck.

Thanks You probably did not see them because they are at the bottom of the list when they should really be right before the LX 10's. You are welcome and good luck on your testing. Holly
You know, I meant to say that the LX 8 would not work in my hard to wick oils in the tealights. I had to go up to a LX 10. I ended up having to order the LX 10's. You may want to try the 10's too.
