Grumpy Girl Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 It seems like I haven't soaped in ages. Today I did restocks and one new scent. I didn't have a soap fairy, I had three or four hanging out tonight with me. I dropped a bucket of soap all over the counter as I was lifting it up to the mold. I was able to save about 95% of it. Thank god the laptop was another two foot to the right. The soap color fairy was very busy tonight at my house. The rust color on the Be Delicious is supposed to be pink/purple... yeah, right. The Samsara looks like a festering bruise. And the green irish tweed swallowed all the black oxide. I'll probably find it all in the middle in a giant blob when I cut it. I went a bit overboard with the gold mica on the acid trip this time around. It will be very disco'ish I'm sure.As usual, cut photos will follow sometime in the spring. Same material as the Kelsei for half the price of their log molds. I've got 8 of his 4lb molds, and I could really use another 8. I refuse, REFUSE to line a soap mold with paper. I've never seen such beautiful soap in my life, AND I can vouch for it in every other way as well.. I have tried many bars of grumpy's soap. It's the good stuff, we'd be hard pressed to find better!
