jenniejr
What size poly or shrink bags do you use for a 3x6 pillar? Been searching around and the sizes don't seem to match or even come close to the size of the pillar. tia
Teercreations
you could try a 5 x 8 bag just make sure you dont use too much heat when you shrink it because the bag will melt into the candle and will mess up the candle finish.
deanna
between poly bags and cello bags?I am looking to get some but don't know which one to buy. Thanks!
SatinDucky
I got the shrink tube roll. 6" I think. Double duty for me, since I can cut it smaller and use it sideways for votives
SatinDucky
between poly bags and cello bags?I am looking to get some but don't know which one to buy. Thanks!Cello are the crinkly kind, non shrinking. Though not all poly shrinks either.Hopefully a more experienced "bagger" will chime in here

DonnaGA
Hi Jennie, Do you want to shrink wrap or just bag your pillars?Donna
eugenia
Jennie, Mine are 5 x 8 and 4 x 9. I've found them in the craft store, in the candy making section and even in the dollar store @ 48 for a buck. These are not shrink wrap, just poly bags and I tie them at the top. e
SatinDucky
It helps to know what you want to do with them. The cello ones just have to be large enough to go around the pillar, but shrink bags need to be larger to give them shrinking room.
Lorrie
I use cell rolls and cut and tie at the top. I think this way it won't smuck up the finish of the candle and I love the look of it.
jenniejr
I was wanting to shrink wrap them. But putting them in cello bags would work just as well. Thanks for all the suggestions and advice!
LauraInNY
I was at the gift store today and was looking at the bags others have used. I noticed some are softer and you can see through them better and some are really crinkly and absorb the color of the dye in the candles. Neither seemed to be shrink wrap. Can someone tell what kind is the "bad" one?
