Have any of you ever gotten floaters in your oil that look like this?

I put the oil in my wax and it looked like fish food floating!!!*faint*

The crystals are slowing dissolving in the wax, but I have never had the crystal this bad..

Shook my bottle up and all.. Not dissolving completely?? Room temp is at 70, so it is not to cold???

Just had to share...

I had this happen a looong time ago. Did not dissolve and they were NOT crystals. I believe it was sediment of some kind. The supplier replaced them but I don't recall them commented on what they were.

OK. I looked back to the thread dealing with it and looks like it was probably bottom-of-the-barrel sediment. I was using the oils for B&B and did not feel comfortable using them with that flaky stuff floating around in there. I haven't seen that before OR after, though.

Hope that helps.

I have a bottle of some vanilla kind of fragrance that has some crystals in the bottom. I tried to sit it in warm water, nothing happened. Should it be hot hot water?

Well I wouldn't say hot, hot ... but it should sit long enough that the water doesn't go cold in like 5-10 minutes or so.

Yes, and there's always the dreaded sediment in the bottle ... but that's why if anything melted if you put it in warm water it wouldn't be sediment. Otherwise, if it is, I'd contact the supplier.

It didn't melt in the warm water.. These are not crystals...

Still looks like fish food.. it even sticks to the side of the bottle !!! :undecided

Never seen anything like this before!!

I think your right Sarah.. IT's SLUGE! LOL
