Ok, I have been testing.. CD 20's weren't big enough for the 15oz honey pot jars.. So, someone told me to get the CD 22's.. I did and I am no expert on wicks, but the CD 22's look a lot small than the CD 20's.. I did a test burn on the 15oz honey pot jar, (Cinnamon) and burning it right now.. It's no where near reaching full melt pool and it has been burning for almost 3 hours..

I bought these wicks off of ebay.. Is it possible they sent me the wrong size CD.. These look small compared to the CD 20's I got from Moonglow..

They are quite close in size.

I get mine from Candlewic and I can't tell them apart at all except for the length. (I order them at different lengths so I don't mix them up.)

They are pretty close in size, but you should be able to see a difference in the melt pools.

Thanks for replying.. It's now over 4 hours and it still isn't anywhere near the sides yet.. When I tested cd20 with this FO, it did a lot better.. They had to of sent the wrong wicks..

Then you probably did.....:cry2:

VE is right on the coating..

BCN'S are definitely coated more than other suppliers.

I can barley get some of BCN's CD 22's in my wick setter tool!!!:cry2:

Another thing is find a supplier and stick with them. For the most part, all CDs are pretty much the same, BUT...a while back I bought CD14s from Candles and Supplies (which is what I have used for years) and they performed like a CD13. Yes, I know there is no such thing as a CD13, but you know what I mean. :grin2:
