lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I currently have a website and want to purchase a new template to redesign my website. I don't know anything about html and do not have any of the programs like Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc. Is there anyone on here that offers a type of service where they could help me redesign my website for a fee? I'm not sure if it would be hourly or a package price? Contact me if you can help me at mirabellamariebeautiful @ yahoo.com (omit spaces). Thanks!! Quote
lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Or if you know of anyone you could recommend, that would be great too. Thanks! Quote
MoonShadow Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Does your web host support Frontpage Extensions? I did mine in Frontpage. Quote
lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Yes, but I don't have Frontpage. Is it hard to use? I know nothing about html. Quote
MoonShadow Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I guess it kinda depends on how complex you want the site to be. You don't really need to know how to write HTML, but it helps to know how the code and the web page components work. There are a lot of nice Frontpage templates out there that can be tweaked and customized. And there are a lot of free tutorials. Quote
Malamute Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Depending on what you need, I may be able to help. I do my own HTML, I bought my template very cheap and did the rest of the work myself. My website is www.freewebs.com/theprimitivetartshop if you want to check it out. I used freewebs, and use Mal's for shopping cart. Quote
Trish Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Contact Jennifer at www.RiverStreetDesigns.com She's also a member here, great lady to work with! Quote
lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 I found a template I want to use and am looking around on ebay for Frontpage. Would it matter what year it was? If I have a template, would the 98 version work fine? Thanks everyone so much for your help! Quote
lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Tracey - your website looks great. Good job! Quote
TracyV Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 We just had our website redesigned. I would highly recommend Helen from Zen Soaps. Her website is http://graphics.zensoaps.com Quote
lexismommy23 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Thanks Trish! I actually did contact Jennifer, but haven't received a phone call yet. That was a few days ago. Maybe she is still playing catch up from the holidays! Thanks!! Quote

MoonShadow Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I got my template from http://www.myartsdesire.com/default.aspShe does really nice work (IMO) and the template was very user freindly. I was able to customize a LOT...and still do! (after 2 years it's still a work in progress! LOL)www.moonshadowsandrainforests.com Quote
MoonShadow Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Here is a good site with "How-to's" in Frontpage.http://frontpagehowto.com/ Quote
