flutterbye Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Just curious if anyone knows anything on this? I'm guessing Astorlite J223 is now an IGI wax? Has anyone used this version of the wax or know if the new version is the same as the old? This place is really close to me and I could pick up instead of paying shipping. They are the only place I see it listed as an IGI wax....so I'm a bit confused....http://www.dpswax.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=55-4633-J223&Category_Code=PBLAlso, are the J223s from Lonestar the same as Candlewics? I've just heard people getting a completly different wax (J223) from different suppliers. Hopefully someone out there will know, because I need to order many cases coming up but also need to save some $$. Thanks! Quote
bugtussle Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I think you will be fine to buy it from Morris. I buy Lone Stars' 223 and it has changed a little in appearance but seems to pour the same. I would buy it from the closest supplier so you don't have to pay frt. Carole Quote
firegirl Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I have poured both waxes... J223 and the newer 4633.. I personally did not have any problems with the newer version. Scent throw is great. HTH Quote
Beth-VT Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 J223 is J223. I've used Astor's (Honeywell) for a long time, and my last 4 cases was the first batch as the new IGI 4633. No differences so far, other than all the friggin' water in the ends of the slabs, argh. Quote
