I ordered 4lbs of RBO from WSP, but I dont know why I did. I think there may have been an error on my part not checking my list over. I have seen a couple of recipes to use rbo. What can I use this in place of?

You can use rice bran oil in place of olive oil.

RBO has properties similar to OO but you'll need to plug it into a lye calculator because I think the SAP values are different. Enjoy your RBO! I cut back on all the oils that I can't get locally but just won't give up my RBO. I can always tell which bars have it. Good stuff!

I like a nice mix of RBO and OO, not to forget that it does help cut the cost of the OO.

RBO has been my base oil for a few years now. It soaps beautifully. I only use olive oil for my castile.

I use 40 to 45% RBO in my base recipe for CP with no olive oil. I save the olive oil for other B&B applications.

I love RBO, I hardly soap without it now. Instead of running outof OO all the time now my OO lasts forever. I cannot tell the difference in my soaps.

I never soap without RBO!! I love it. I like it with the OO but in a pinch, you can just use the RBO if you run out of OO.
