lilstarr78 Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Does anyone know where I can find something that smells like Apple Cider. I purchased a candle from a local store and the scent is Cinnamon Cider. I LOVE the smell of it, but to me it smells a little more like Apple Cider. I purchased Mulled Cider, but it doesn't have the same smell... I have to have it, lol. Please help. Quote
WYJen Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Just Scent carries a Cinnamon Cider, and Snowtop has a Mulled Cider- these two smell exactly the same. Not sure if it's what you're looking for or not- very "apple-y" though and one of my all time favorites!. Quote
katie Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I used Millcreek christmas splendor but renamed it Hot Apple Cider. It is super strong and my customers loved it and thought is smelled dead on. Quote
IndyGirl Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Christmas Splendor? Not at all the same thing. I sell both and very definately these are 2 distinct fragrances. As for the apple cider......PM me and I will get you a sample of a really good one. Quote
ubure Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 JBN Apple Cider is very good and strong, although the smell of Hot Apple Cider from wicks-wax-scents.com is the best (though it might not be that strong)! Quote
Mnhorsemom Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I like the Apple Jack and Peel from Peaks. I label that one Hot Apple Cider, and sell quite a few of them. Quote
roxi4112000 Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 alabaster has a great mulled cider it throws awesome(in 100% soy) but you must wick up on it, its also very cheap per pd. alabaster is located in alabama and kentucky, good luck Quote
stephnms Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 ICS has Mulled Cider and Apple Jack & Peel. Both are great! Quote
lilstarr78 Posted January 7, 2007 Author Posted January 7, 2007 PM me and I will get you a sample of a really good one.I tried PMing you, but for some reason it says I do not have access to do that??? Can you email me the information to lilstarr78@insightbb.com I would appreciate it. Quote
firegirl Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I have found through trial and error that it definitely depends on what type of "Mulled Cider" you are wanting.. I have purchased samples from every supplier that I could think of. I finally found the version that I wanted... it has a very strong Mac Apple note mixed with spices... For me, the winner is Alabasters... hands down.. my all time favorite.. no orange peel or clove notes.. just plain apple and spices.. Quote
