CountryGal Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Where is a good source for finding these portion cups? I use a pure soy votive blend wax and I have tried the clamshells, but like the idea of the portion cups...just worried a little about them melting when the wax is poured. Quote
idahospud Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I get mine off ebay. I never have had a problem with them melting at all. Quote
Sharon in PA Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Sorry, stupid question, but what are portion cups???:embarasse Quote

WYJen Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Food Service Direct is where I get mine too- you'll want the polypropylene ones for melts- I think the brand is Conex. I just started doing mine this way last week and poured one super hot just to test it, no melting or warping at all. I LOVE them...makes pouring melts easier than ever- I love not having to unmold! Kassandra Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Try Sam's! They have several oz. sizes available. Also, Ace Mart might have them. Quote

Got mine here too! I am so excited to have a way to make tarts without the worry of them losing scent like the clamshells. Quote

I believe that Ace Mart is one that I contacted when searching for them, and theirs are not polypro either. Quote
