diamondk
I have been making 2# batches and my measuring cups work great. What do y'all use when it comes to bigger batches? I don't know if I have anything safe to use. TIA
prairieannie
Large batches of.......soap? I use a big mixing bowl, lol. Don't know if you're talkin about soap, though I assume so. Sometimes I use the removable crock from an old crock pot I have too.
Scent Cellar
I have used my bucket that the lard came in, an 5 qt ice cream bucket but mostly use a stainless steel kettle.

Sara
I use stainless steel pots. You can get them in all sizes (well nearly all). I've also started to use buckets. I picked up a bunch of them at the Dollar Store recently. They are the same as the big buckets you get bulk oils in, only smaller. They work great.I've used the ice cream buckets, but they make me nervous because they're a little flimsy.
Landa
home depot sells really hard plastic buckets that are used for mopping and such. That might work.
