Shannon WY
Shannon, "will you marry me"? If not, can I drop over some afternoon and get some lessons on how to make those FANTASTIC candles of yours. They are drivin me crazy they're so gorgeous. I watch a TV show that's called "HOW'D THEY DO THAT" I've finally got around the corner making rustics (almost) and then you come along and blow me away with yours. PLEASE keep posting they're great. By the way, I see you are into archery, I held the Ontario championship 2 years in a row (40 years ago)LOL! Thanks, Tucker, but one man is enough for me:grin2: My rustics are okay but nothing compared to the Queens of Rustic on here, Scented and Eugenia to name a couple. There are a lot of talented candlemakers on this board! I've been concentrating on containers candles and when I got this order and made the first 5, I had to remelt all of them:tongue2: Keep practicing! Congrats on your archery championship! I won a 1st place trophy at target league a few years ago (only because there were 2 of us in the class and the other gal didn't show up most of the time, but don't tell anyone!). Thanks everyone for the nice words. The first one is my favorite! I really enjoy making these:smiley2:

Shannon WY
I use the Smooth-On silicone that I get from Misterart.com- it's super easy! You shouldn't be jealous, you have the most beautiful candles!!

Donita
Thanks Shannon....I found the company. So you got a hard object shaped like a horse and then used the product to make a mold that you can pour wax into? I would really like to try this. Sounds like fun and I really love your candles. Donita
Shannon...it's me again...I told my daughter about the georgeous horse candles you did.....she hasn't seen your work yet....she thinks that we could use it in a ravioli.......we do very fancy pasta and since we live in horse country (like where Christopher Reeves had his accident) horse food would go over in a big way......lots of $$$$$$$$$$$ money around here. I am trying to figure out how to make a fimo project using some fancy techniques and your horse in the mold thing together......who knows....maybe Martha Stewart would think this was cool. Just late night thinking. I really love what you did. Saved it in "My pictures"......Donita
