eugenia
DH walked in last night as I was almost finished shredding 8 lbs. of soap. He asked why I was doing this and I told him it was too ugly to live. He picked up one of the not yet shredded and said "I see." LMAO.This was from a large batch that seized, was full of holes and looked like crap. Better to be reborn than live an ugly life. Happens to all of us now and again. magsglass
Better to be reborn than live an ugly life. Yes ma'am - I hear ya!! Although the ugly batches do make the nice ones look all the more beautiful! LOL!

Crafty1_AJ
You want ugly? I've got a batch of DSM soap going right now. Ugh. Looks like something from a newborn's diaper. :lipsrseal
Sherie
LOL, AJ, I have you and Eugenia both. I did TWO batches. One Awaphui Seaberry and one Huggies. They raced on me and look like colored crap (literally). Kerry keeps reminding me I can rebatch them. Heck, there going to get used just the way they are. I believe in a slow death, lol. :highfive:

Crafty1_AJ
Yup, what Chris said. It's an HP'ed DSM batch that looks and smells like something only a mother could love. The DSM makes it a lovely gray color. The fact that it's HP makes it a lovely rough texture. And that fact that it has tea tree, rosemary, and lavender eo's makes it a lovely stink. AJ you just described my first CP with DSM, even DH was afraid to use it, it was gross looking!! Since I love DSM I now add a touch of black oxide to it and it makes a great swirl.
