Atticmonkey Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Hi all,I am going to attempt making tarts with astrolite v soon. I am using peaks scents and a presto pot. Any tips out there on getting the best results? I know ive heard both ways on the one pour claim of astro v, but im hoping the tarts will be able to be a one pour and still look nice. They are just for personal use so they dont have to be perfect but the better they look the happier i will be. So if anybody can help me out on the melting and pouring temps it would be great. Terrie Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I put the V in the presto, heat to about 190 or so, add dye, add FO at 175, and pour at 160. The V has awesome throw, and it is a one pour in tarts. It will hold 1.5 oz of FO per pound of wax, also. It is a great wax for tarts.
