When adding things like ground oatmeal or clays, how much should you add for a 2# batch?

When adding things like honey or other liquids, how much should you add for a 2# batch?

For honey, I usually add a tablespoon per pound of oil. Additives you have to practice to get a good feel - too much can look great but be really scratchy. I usually start with a little less than a tablespoon, maybe a 1/2 tablespoon per pound, and keep adding..

For ground oatmeal, I use 1 tablespoon for a 2 lb. batch. Here is a picture of my Lavender and Oats Bar. This should give you an idea of what 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal looks like in soap. I only used lavender FO in this, did not use lavender buds.

I haven't used honey, yet, so I can't help you with that one.
