Additives you have to practice to get a good feel - too much can look great but be really scratchy. I usually start with a little less than a tablespoon, maybe a 1/2 tablespoon per pound, and keep adding.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Maltesima Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 For ground oatmeal, I use 1 tablespoon for a 2 lb. batch. Here is a picture of my Lavender and Oats Bar. This should give you an idea of what 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal looks like in soap.
