Jane42
I am so excited!! I just bought a case of the 16 oz Classic/Dodecagon jars and I can't wait to try them!I know with the 10 oz apothecary jars I double wick with LX 10's (wax is Harmony 4630). Does anyone have a starting point for me to start testing on this new jar? I was hoping I didn't have to double wick...:rolleyes2 Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Candle Man
IMO - I don't like these or any other jar where the top opening is smaller then the jar. With smaller opening jars they are harder to wick, don't get the oxygen needed for proper combustion, to burn correctly, and with the opening being small, you don't get good hot throw. Not putting you off on these jars, just stating facts I have found. J/K - I am glad I know now...it will make the frustration a little easier to take! I was going to try these for personal use - I don't think my partner would like this style anyway.Well....maybe I can use them for VERY LARGE aroma bead jars....
