ignitethesenses
Does cp generally produce harder bars? I used the same recipe in cp and cphp and my cphp bars arent hardening up very fast.
Jooniper
I have noticed too that my cphp soaps are softer. I certainly get a more consistent bar of soap using the method but would like to know how to change my recipe a little to get the bar to turn out harder. Does anyone have suggestion for a harder bar using the cphp method?

ignitethesenses
I've also read that stearic acid is an additive that can be used - maybe I'll give it a try before I buy the sodium lactate (although..the sodium lactate sounds like something I may use of other things as well )I was thinking that the difference is in the texture when it sets in the mold. When your pour liquid soap in the mold with cp, there is no air space in there....but when you have to plop cphp soap in, there's bound to be some air space. I was thinking maybe that was it...
