theoldehearth
Hi, I have a yard of unprimed HTP 73 that I've bought awhile ago but never used it as I usually order the pretabbed wicks. Due to an oversight on my stock supply I've run out of the pretabbed wicks and am waiting for the new order. While I'm waiting I thought I'd try priming the wick to continue on with my candle making. My question is what wax do you prime it with or does it matter? I will be using them for soy candles if that helps any. Thanks for any info!Shannon:confused:
Crafty1_AJ
When I primed my own wicks, I just used the same wax that I was going to use for the candle they'd go in. I didn't fuss with getting a higher MP wax on there. LOL Just tried to keep it simple.
KristinesShower
I've seen quite a few primed with beeswax.
