Knightsaber
Hey hey.I've been doing pillars my whole 'career' and I just discovered seamless molds. Now the things is, they have no base! All my other metal molds have bases and they stand up straight and are quite happy.I'm having trouble figuring out how to keep them upright?Sorry if this is a noobish question, but is making me crazy. ChrisR
I use a plastic storage box with sand in it to keep my pillars straight and steady!!
Mozzie
I either use plastic tubs filled with uncooked rice or sit them on top of round cookie cutters or anything else that's circular and open at at least one end. HTH. BTW, after using seamless moulds you'll never want to go back to the seamed variety (unless you have to for a particular shape or size). bdank
I never had a problem with sitting them directly on the counter.
Scented
I never had a problem with sitting them directly on the counter.Me either. But if you want to tilt and keep them sorta stable or put in a water bath, those are different situations.
ChrisR
I never had a problem with sitting them directly on the counter.A lot depends on how you wick them! I normally wick the mold and have a wick 'knot' on the bottom, so they wobble and don't sit flat. If I use a wick centering thingy or wick pin, yeah then they sit flat!
