mandyx05
Has anyone tried this "Melt & Pour Cold Process" soap from Brambleberry? (http://www.brambleberry.com/stephenson, go down a little ways) I'm very new to CP soap making but wanted to give it a try (just to play around with) and was thinking about getting this at first but wanted to see if anyone had used it before. Thanks!

Michi
I think this is the same as the low sweat-like CP white M&P base that SFIC sells. It's basically just a M&P base that's supposed to actlook more like CP, but I used it and didn't see any difference between it and the basic white base. ??Off to check out BB to see if it's what I'm thinking it is..... Michi
Yep it's what I thought. Here's the description from BB's site:'Cold Process-Low Sweat' Melt and Pour Base (Opaque) - A cold process melt and pour base? How can this be you ask? Our newest base allows you to enjoy the look of cold process in a Melt and Pour base! It is perfect for someone who wants to wrap their soap in paper. This soap base is an opaque white base that does very well in humid climates with little to no sweating!Ingredients for the low sweating bases are exactly the same as our white melt and pour base. Only difference is glycerin is decreased and other oils slightly modified to make up for the glycerin subtraction.
