awickedscent
What UV inhib do you use for this wax. I know some you are not supposed to use as it will decrease the mottle. I think.
Scented
UV won't affect any effects in a candle except to slow down fading of a color I use Peaks UV. 1/2 tsp pp of wax.
Margaritamama
I don't use any - but then again my candles are all for personal use, and vary rarely sit unused for very long
SatinDucky
You may be thinking of UA(Universal Additive). I made that mistake in the beginning. With my initial supplies I had gotten some alond with my pillar blend wax. The bag didn't tell what was in it, just the paper part stapled to the top, which I tossed when I opened. Being confused with all the new abbreviations, I just wrote UV on the bag. It wasn't until 2 months later when I was describing the pellets in a post that the error was discovered. BTW: It's not necessary to add UA to a preblend...LOL
awickedscent
I thought you are supposed to add UV to all wax. I used to use M38 and my candles would fade or change colors. Am I wrong on this?
