friendlyMOM
If I wanted to make the recipe bubble instead of fizz, do I just sub the citric for SLSA, in the same amount that is called for?

sawyer's moon
Lots of people sub out the TRO for something else. I've personally done monoi and shea oil. Some will use a different water-soluble oil, some will combine an oil with polysorbate, and some will sub out straight oil. TRO is kind of thick so I chose thicker oils when subbing. Ann M
I have subbed part SAO and part Polysorbate 80 for the TRO. It makes the bombs just fine, but I do find they don't bubble as well as when made with TRO. I can't stand TRO. THe smell is awful to me. No matter how much or what find of FO/EO I use, I still smell motor oil. I have made bombs with monoi and coconut oil too. They worked better.Ann
