ubure
I've bought such a nice rubber mold for my tarts...sorry, melts...sweet little bundt cakes. They release perfectly, but unfortunately the tops of the melts are all dull (is this the right word?) and not shiny. Can I do something to change this?Thank you!! Candle Man
Rubber molds will not be as shiny as metal molds. If they have a sorta white surface you can heat the inner part of the mold with a heat gun before you pour the wax into the mold, that has helped me with silicone molds. karenmimi
Since they are little bundt cakes, what about drizzling (sp) wax on top to make it look like icing? This would cover the dull look. I add "icing" to my cinnabuns tarts and they turn out really cute.
