Sherie
Sherie, I've been wanting to try the Garnier Fructis since Maryann showed a picture of it in the gallery. Where did ya get it and where the hell is a picture of it? Hummm???I demand more soap porn!LOL, well, I need to go check on that lil baby and see if she's hard enough to take out. I got a 1 oz. sample as a gift from a very dear friend. The supplier is The Sage. Let me tell you 1/2 oz. in a 2.75 pound batch is awesomely strong. I did 3 layers and scented each layer and then swirled on the top layer. Now, I gotta tell you my boo boo. I got so excited because my neon colors were perfect and my swirl looked so cool. Well, I started cleaning up my mess and turned around and low and behold I had not put my darn dividers in. My heart just dropped. I grabbed them and very gently pushed them in. It caused the sides to slightly turn up (kinda like the roof on a japanese pagoda), lol. So I figured I could just trim them down. Anyway, I'll get a pic when I can take them out.Hey, you got some cut soap porn to post yourself girlie!!!!! P.S. Send some of that wet stuff down my way woodja pleazzzzz? Grumpy Girl
I used select shades. I am too broke for micas right now. LOL. I think if I would have used more coloring it would have stayed red, it's kinda cherry red/pink right now.

Hibiscus
I wanna know if they bleed or not. When I acheived a black like that with oxide from MMS it was a beautiful rich black but when I washed my hands with it the lather was black and it looked like I had been gardening without gloves~ Makes me wanna stick with liquids or ultramarines oh and the micas are nice too! Grumpy Girl
Cut pictures added... not what I was hoping for but oh well, I'll live.
Jcandleattic
I would have NEVER guessed that was done in a log mold by looking at the swirls on the top! I cannot swirl like that in a log mold to save my life! If I'm swirling in a log, I usually just do the ITP method. I like the looks of the cut ones, even if it wasn't what you had in mind. VERY NICE!
OutlandishLady
They look damn good to me. I can't swirl in my log mold at all. I just end up with one really queer color, lol.
skg
Those are both stunning! Black is a hard color to use - I've done more - bleeds when you use it/turns into a solid black bar of soap/made my tub a ngihtmare to clean - batches than I've had decent ones lol... I've cut alot of it up and used it as chunks in the same scented loaf/log... looks pretty cool - if your not happy try that!
Grumpy Girl
Oh trust me, I love to rebatch. I will probably chunk the love spell up and put it in a new batch over the weekend. It's reminds me of a DNA test right now.

I hate to waste it:D I did read somewhere that the aussie clay works better and doesn't bleed.
