mytime Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Hi my name is Cheryl and I have been poking around here for awhile.I have my own bath and body business that i am going into my 2nd year.As of right now i can't sell candles due to my insurance carrier. I have been looking into making candles for my own personal use and maybe ifI get good at it in time I would change my insurance and start selling ONLY if i am good at it. I have been looking at this website where they have the "basic instructions"which it seems very helpful. However, how do i know what wax to use and which wick works, is there a standard guidline for this? Also, if i just want to start "playing around" should i purchase a kit or just buy piece by piece and what company would you recommend? Thanks,Cheryl Quote
Crafty1_AJ Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 HI Cheryl!! Kits are great. I'd recommend starting there. Are we talking container candles? Paraffin or soy? Quote
