Terrie
Which of these two molds would you buy? The **MINI** is the one I'm looking at. http://www.kelseiscreations.com/page3.htmlOr this one: http://www.uplandsoapfactory.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16145&category_id=
diamondk
Sorry I can't help you on the molds. If you want to do CPOP I don't think you will be able to do it with the plastic one unless you have already checked on that.
Terrie
I'll be using them for CP. :smiley2:
Jcandleattic
Out of experience with both, go with the Upland. I promise you will not be sorry.. Although the kelsie;s are good, trust me the uplands are nicer and much easier to work with.. And yes, I have both!!
Meridith
I think you can do cpop in the Kelsies mold. I have the exact Uplands that you are looking at Terrie. I really like it because of the liner. It makes it so easy w/out having to line your mold and the soap come right out. The cut lines are kind of hard to get a straight cut and the outside bars are slightly larger than the rest. You can learn to compensate though to get the same size bars. Overall, I am pleased with this mold. But be aware that you should not do more than a 3lb recipe.
Fairy_Light
Well I can't really comment on either of the molds other then what I have heard. I've heard some good things about the Kelsie molds but a whole lot of good things about the upland molds. I personally have a matha mold with the 3 rows in it makes a good number of bars and I used one of those things from home depo (think it's a miter box) and a soap cutter to cut my bars back when i was making soap. I think the upland though just from hear say is the better mold. Seems a lot more people are a lot more happy with it.HTHHUGS
Terrie
Thanks everyone. I think I'm gonna go with the Upland. I'll just be happy to get away from the log molds. I don't do well with them. :rolleyes2
Sherie
I'm going to order an Upland too Terrie! I have the Kelsie and I want to compare the two to decide which one I like best. From all the posts I've read and information I've received from other members, it sounds like I will like the Upland much better.

Sara
Terrie, I don't have the Kelsie one, but do have the Upland and really like it. CPOP and it is going strong after dozens of batches.

Terrie
Leslie, what kind of mold did you find at Target?
ebcandles
It all boils down to if you want to cut or not. Thats really the question. If you want the ease of no cutting get the Kelsie. If you want to cut, get the upland. Both are great molds.
Sara
Sara which size mold do you have? TIAThe 12 bar one. I don't think I could go bigger on a slab unless I had a cutter. That might be where the Kelsie one would come in handy for me. I have problems cutting.
