elitenaildesign
Got another dillhole question.:embarasse I am all ready to make my FBB this weekend. This is my first experience with it. I dont have any instructions for it, so am I supposed to melt this stuff first before adding the SAL, color and fo? I am assuming si as it would be really hard to whip in the state its in now. LovelyLathers
Here's a link that might help you out a bit. I do melt mine with the oils. About 2 ozs of oil to 1 lp of ffb. I did find that using atleast 2 lbs will give you a nicer whip as ststed in the link, HTHhttp://www.lemelange.com/foaming_bath_butter.htm
soynut
I just made a big batch of this this week--Tropical Island--yum! Anyway, I don't melt mine. I just put it in the KA add the oil and fragrance and beat until smooth. I then add color ( if I color) and beat a bit longer. I also made a scrub using sugar and added until the point of saturation--it almost doubles in volume. It's a little rough when you get started whipping--but after about 30-45 seconds, it smooths right out.HOpe this helps!Becky
Ann M
I don't melt mine either. I just put it in the KA bowl, add my oil and whip away. Here is a link from Kangaroo Blue with a recipe and pictures.http://www.kangarooblue.com/kc/foaming_bath_butter.htmAnn
