Trish Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 This happened to me too. Within a week of me registering my business, someone registered my business name and offered to resell it to me. I was so upset because before I chose my business name, I checked to see if the domain was available and it was.I should've registered the domain before getting my license, but too late now. I ended up using a hyphen so I could still get my name, but it's not what I wanted. In two months the name will expire, so I'm hoping they won't renew and I can get it. As much of a pisser as it is that there are scabs out there who do this, you can look into what they want or just change the name a bit and register it BEFORE you post it on any boards.
