ajl
Hi everyone,I currently use the little dye chips but want to try out liquid dyes, especially black. Is there a difference in the quality of the dye depending on where you buy from or are they all the same? Thanks for any help :smiley2:
Linnyeg
I would think that different suppliers would have different dyes. Personally I use Peaks liquid dyes and their black is awesome! I was able to get a true black using it.
Scented
Well I have three kinds of liquids and I prefer Peaks. Easier to get what I want.
ajl
Thanks for the help. I've just joined Melody's co-op for Peaks dyes. Can't wait to start experimenting with them.
Ring of Fire
BCN has the best liquid dyes. The black is black.
Georgia
I haven't tried BCN. Peak liquid colors rock. Alabaster not so much
Candybee
I use liquid dyes from Lonestar. I like them because a little bit goes a long way and the colors are great! I tried color blocks but you have to use a lot to get the same color as the liquid dyes and they aren't as true to the color you want. Deb
Peaks here, too. I've tried liquid dyes from several different suppliers and Peaks wins, hands down. They also seem to last forever...LOL!
Darwin
I use Peaks liquid dye. It seems to be pretty good in the fact that, it does not "settle" in the bottom of a jar candle.
