CareBear
I searched and read and saw a lot about using M&P, but I need details!I tried just melting down some M & P and adding b & b coloring (blue liquid dye from God knows where).Didn't work out at all. Can't get an intense color, and the soap doesn't write on the tub walls cause it's too slick, I guess. Can someone please help me with this? jwahlton
Carol I don't think they are supposed to "color" the tub, at least mine doesn't. I use clear M&P to get the more vivid colors. HTH
CareBear
Drat. I was hoping they could be a bath tub toy! Oh well,
storm35
I got told to use a small amount of cornstarch for the softer feeling to the crayon, i have never tried them though.chris xx
violetmoondrops
Same as you, I was hoping that there would be a way you could actually WRITE on the tub with them. But, I doubt kid's would notice ... they usually have good imaginations. - Meg
friendlyMOM
you can use soap flakes and food coloring instead of melt and pour and get crayons to write on the tub http://www.soapdelicatessen.com/soapmaking/toiletries/bombs/misc/crayons/
Michi
Last night while I was making some scrub, I was measuring out my stearic, and the smell of it (smells just like color crayons LOL) gave me an idea that maybe adding this to m&p for the soap crayons may help it be a little harder and therefore easier to write with??Hmmm I feel an experiment coming on.
