mharries
I just received this candy cane FO from At Wix End & there is something floating in it. If I had to guess I'd say it looks like actual ground cinnamon but I don't think there is any cinnamon in this FO & if there was wouldn't it be liquid form rather than the flakes? The flakes do not seem to dissolve. I'm planning on making tarts with this but I'm concerned that these will be in the wax. I've never seen this in any other FOs I have. Any ideas? cindym
Try putting it in hot water and see if it dissolves if it doesn't I would give the company a call. I have seen crystals in fo's, does it look like crytals, can't really tell by the pic.

whiffandsniff
Crystals are usually yellowish white. Let me see if I can take a photo of crystals that I might have and you'll see what I'm talking about. That looks like you got the end of a barrel of FO. candleslh
Yes I'd call them too. They are good to fix problems!
sudsnwicks
Since you've taken these photos, why not email them to the company and ask if they can replace it. It doesn't look good to me, looks like sediment or something. Crystals is when the FO got too cold, but I don't see how that's possible in the middle of summer.
