aberforth
As a beginner i am unsure of what scents i can and cannot use. Is it possible to use aftershave or am i a bit wide of the mark here?
annareeb
I assume you mean for scenting candles? if so, you need fragrance oils that are wax safe...anything else and you are asking for trouble... http://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgigo to the main page and read up on the basics. tlc26
Anything that is water based like aftershave will not mix with wax.oil and water do not mix. Besides I would be afraid to put anything with alcohol in a candle. You have to figure if you are going to burn it anything that is in it will be very hot and it could catch fire.
