lots_n_more
I made my first candles this past week end. Some tarts and votives. I thought they turned out pretty good. Untill I went to bring them to my grandmas today.I got them in the sunshine and could see teeny tiny bubbles in the outside.(I have the worst lighting in my apartment). Did I pour wrong?I burned a votive I made the other day and was really impressed. It burned perfectly. When done there was NO wax left in the bottom of the holder, I was so happy! Can anyone help me? Scented
Could be you poured too fast or too slow or too hot to get the bubbles on the outside. Or the mold just cooled too fast. All can be characteristics of the bubble syndrome.
fredron
Try warming your molds. I use a heat gun, and get them warm, nad never have a problem with bubbling. Don't know what wax you're using, but pouring too hot can cause trouble, evne into a warm mold.Fredron
