CareBear
If you have a mold with dividers and you do a swirl, does then placing the dividers affect your swirl? If yes, in what way?TNX, Carol
Grumpy Girl
Yes, in a good way... it drags the swirl to the edges of the bar usually. I do much better swirls in a slab mold with dividers.
jwahlton
Yes, what Grumpy said. So are you getting a Kelsei Carol?
CareBear
Well, I DO have the new job, with a paycheck on the way....Is that what I want to be looking at?
Grumpy Girl
Oh yeah... you DO want a Kelsei. But take my advice and get the 18 bar mold instead of the 9 bar. You can always section it off and make half batches or whatever size you want. I wish I'd gotten the 18 instead of the 9 but I never thought I'd be moving this much soap out the door. Also, it's a royal bitch to get the dividers out of the mold the first couple of times you do it but after about 5-10 times, you can pull them out by hand. At least I can with mine.
jwahlton
I've got both the 9 & 18 bar and use the 9 bar most.

MasterBaker2
Yes, what Grumpy said. So are you getting a Kelsei Carol?Okay, I'm new to the soaping thing. In fact haven't made any yet but am putting together all the supplies I need. I'd rather buy something that's good the first time instead of wishing I had gotten one of these. Where can I buy one? Sherie
Yep, I'd get a Kelsei any day of the week. I have 2 of the 9 bars and just love them.
