momof4kids
Hi. I am new to all this and am wondering what is the best preservative to add to bath gels and do you get your product tested before you sell it to the public? Thanks!
pamperme
What do you mean by bath gel?Like a shower gel..if you are using a base ...they SHOULD already have a preserve in them.as far as testing..it is costly that Is why I go with mostly bases..and then dry products or ones that do not really require a preserative I do myself. momof4kids
What about Castile soap, would that already have a preservative in it?

pamperme
most all bases you get will have the preserve in them already.. there are a few..very few..that if you add water to them you have to add an additional preservative..but you would probably want to contact the supplier about what they would suggest since they are the ones who are stating to add the other ingredients.. this is not including FO or B&B dye..those are a given and usually the bases are prepared for you to add that.Did that make sense?:undecided
