Pam W
Have found a type of wick that I am unfamiliar with. I cut it open to figure out what it is. It is cotton braid with a roll of brown paper inside. This is the type of wick that is in that new Glade tart burner & I've also found it in a store-bought beeswax candle which is burning extremely well. Since BW is so hard to wick, I'd like to find some of these to test with.Any ideas what it might be called?
topofmurrayhill
You just said it. It's a paper core wick.
Glowlite
I use paper core wicks on 99% of my candles.
Sallykate
I have no idea about what kind of wick it is but your title "wick autopsy" cracked me up!
