slow-burn
How would a complete puter fool (like me) go about starting a website. Is it possible. Is the do it yourself pages hard? Can you make them look professional enough? Is it expensive! Can someone please lead me in the right direction??

slow-burn
So do they have step by step directions? And do I have to worry about having pop-ups all over the screen. And since I don't have a domain yet, can I get it thru them? Will they give it back if I ever leave them?

And since I don't have a domain yet, can I get it thru them? Will they give it back if I ever leave them? They have a step by step that one of the members put together. http://www.wahmpro.com/store/WsAncillary.asp?ID=3 There are tons of shop owners on the message board that can help you if you get lost too. No pop ups, Registering the domain is $10 per year, and yes Tony(the admin) will transfer the domain if you want to leave.Edit to add...Tony also has this set up guide..http://1-800ehelp.com/featurecart/help/HTH

I like the fact that the slide (don't know what to call it) on the left side stays where you put it so you don't have to keep sliding it down each time for a new search. Well done!!!!Could you possibly tell me what you had to read in order to accomplish designing and implementing the site??
daniedb
If you don't mind doing the domain registering and finding a host yourself, I highly recommend buying a template and personalizing it to your site. I like www.templatemonster.com, and it's about $50 to buy the template, then you're done with a cost from them. You have to pay to host the site, and that can run between $50-100 per year.
