Trae Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Made these for a friend. Her daughters are giving them as gifts to the opposing teams in their tournament. Put 4 to a package. Quote
elitenaildesign Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Oh my god, those are too cool. I would love to make baseball soaps, but can you imagine giving soap to a bunch of high school boys on my sons team? Even though they all need it after a game!Nice Job! Quote
CDGM Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 How cute! Very creative!Hey they boys might like it as a soap on a rope! Quote
OFCILynn Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Those are just so neat!!! If you dont mind me asking, please share how the heck you got the red threadding on it like you did?? Trae Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 I actually hand painted the laces on with acrylic paint. Took FOREVER but the effect is cool. Quote
Brenda Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Those are great! :highfive: They'll be tickled pink! Quote
soapmom25 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 be prepared for LOTS of orders! I've done these for years, and am literally in the middle of putting new pictures up on my sites WITHOUT the painted lines because it just takes me soooo much time to do them. I thought I'd have it licked by charging "more" for the painted detail, but that didn't slow down my orders a bit ~ people just love these! I also have footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, tennis balls, golf balls, and hockey pucks! I always painted them (except the golf & puck), but I just have to quit until I can hire a "painter" Quote
lindsaycb Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Those are very very cool! Is it a full round mold? Or do you have dimple on the but where the pour hole is?I love those! They'd be great gifts for our little leauge(sp?) coaches Quote
Livelovebath Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 those are super!! great work!!! I am sure they will be adored by those who recieve them!! Quote
countrysoaper Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 those are too cool!!! How big are they? You said 4 to a bag, so they must be guest sized. I just love them!!! Quote
Trae Posted July 11, 2006 Author Posted July 11, 2006 Lindsay-- There is a small dimple where I poured, but I just level it with a knife and they stand up pretty well.Branda--They are about 1.25 in diameter. I packaged them in cello with a curling ribbon. Thanks for the compliments! Quote
Scented Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 These look fabulous! Oh what fun! Now I'm asking, seams were painted on? Quote
diamondk Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Those look awesome. Could these be done using CP process? TIA Quote
chiptooth Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 These are great! I would love to give something like this out for birthday treats instead of a bunch of junky stuff from the dollar store. Where did you get the molds? Quote
