floating candles

I don't have much experience with candle making. I would like to make about 48 leave shaped floating candles for my daughter's wedding in September.

I have the molds and the wax and the wicks and all the equipment. I would just like to hear from someone that has done floating candles before. I'm sure

that many of you know much more than I do and I would appreciate any info or links for info.
