VickiB in CA Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Could someone give me a starting place for the soy blend I'm working with? I mix 75% GB 415 and 25% CB3 (soy/veg blend). I add 3% BW. I love the way the wax looks but having trouble wicking. I've only worked with zincs, premier 700s (fizzle out) and Ultra Cores. Do I need to add more wick types to my testing??Thanks!ps - I use a 4" frosted apothecary - no color and 1.4 oz FO max. Quote
geekrunner Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Hi VickiB,Since your blend is majority 415, with BW, and in a 4" jar, I would suggest (as a starting point) double wicking with HTP73 or LX14, and moving up or down as necessary. You definitely won't be able to single wick that jar/wax combo.Good luck and let us know what happens! geek Quote
VickiB in CA Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Thanks! I ordered samples of both of those types :smiley2: Quote
