Garden Eastward's Bug E.O. Blend

Can someone tell me how much to use in a 4 oz. spray container. Also, what liquid is used -- distilled water?

I am just getting ready to make and test my natural bug spray. I have a blend of EO's but also purchased some body spray by the gallon to use as my base. You need certain additives in the water so the oils will mix.

The base that I am using has the following ingredients: Water, Surfactant, Dipropylene glycol, glycerol, Glydent & Hydantoin. I have heard of some people using vodka but it seems to be a questionable area if you can/should sell it with that as an ingredient.

I am just starting with my bug spray so maybe someone that has done some testing will chime in.

for skin applications, i do not go over 3% unless the manuf of the eo suggest less.
