got a gorgeous, rich (if oily) pound of shealoe from From Nature with Love. I think I could sell this stuff straight! Anyone work wiht it? Anyone sell it?

I do, I love it. Very nice butter. I use it it make whipped butter, not just straight. But thinking about how creamy it is, I would try adding some FO and whip it and see how it is alone.

What else do you whip in? And why not just add aloe and shea separately to your others? Just curious.

BTW, I left a small jar of the stuff in my car for the day (hot hot hot) . Turned to liquid like milk! But hardened back up to about the same, didn't even lose much volume. I'm going to repeat the cycle for 3 days (hot day, cold night) to see if it really can hold it's integrity!

You should keep it in the refridgerator. It is possible to freeze it, then unthaw it and it won't seperate. I love the stuff.I use it in a few of my formulas. You don't have to worry bout grains in the shea!

ETA: If you are selling it, you should add a preservative.

While it is 50 Shea & 50 Aloe.... Aloe is 25% water.

Thanks for the info. But the supplier said if I refrigerate it then I must let it reach Room Temp before opening or I will get condensation.

Can you recommend a preservative and level?

Preservative totally depends on the application you are going to use it in.

You probably should let it come to room temp, however I have never had a problem with condensation. I gert mine directly from the manufacturer.
