tlc26 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 This was the first time that the soap leaked through the freezer paper. I could barely get it out of the mold and this is what I was left with even after soaking and scraping Quote
tlc26 Posted May 10, 2006 Author Posted May 10, 2006 and this was what came out of the mold. I think it over heated too. 2 days ago it was purple in the middle. pink UM and red oxide, scented WSP's Sex In The Shower...smells awesome!!!!I haven't cleaned them up yet Quote
Darwin Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I have never had that happen, but I only do HP and it is thick and gooey when I put it in the mold. The soaps still look great. Quote
elle110 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Your swirls are very unique...I loved the ones in your other post as well w/your 1st soap...Nice work! Quote
Jcandleattic Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Sorry about the mold, but the soaps look nice. Quote
maryann Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Those swirls are pretty neat!! I've found that its harder to swirl in a mold like this. If it makes you feel any better Tab I have a mold that looks just like that from a few months ago.BTW that red likes like a true bright red, is it ?? (sometimes pics distort things). If so where did you get your oxide?? (if you don't mind me asking). I'm been searching high and low. TIA Quote
tlc26 Posted May 10, 2006 Author Posted May 10, 2006 The soaps from the other post were made in this mold and they swirled much nicer. the part I pulled out to color started to trace faster and it was thicker, I think that is why this swirl isn't as cool as the other (done at a very thin trace) The oxide is not eactly bright but it is a decent red. WSP red oxide..want me to send you a scoop or 2? Quote
