jolsen1973 Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Here are my opinions regarding the following NG oil samples tested in KY para-soy tart/votive blend at 1 oz pp.Aromatherapy Energizing: smells light oob and has a pleasant, but light cold and hot throw, you really smell the mints oob, but can smell hints of citrus when it's hot, may want to up the load if you're looking for a strong throwBest Friends: very strong berry smell oob, average cold throw and strong, delicious hot throw, you can smell the vanilla down once it's hotCinnamon Doughnuts: did not like this oil from the first moment I opened the bottle, very intense, strong cinnamon smell oob, did not detect any vanilla or bakery hints, cold and hot throw is very intensely cinnamon, I was hoping to be able to smell the doughnut part, but couldn't, will work for you if you are looking for an intense, not sweet cinnamon throwDowny Fresh: pure heaven oob, smells like Downy with a fruity kick, very strong cold and hot throw, don't usually like laundry scents, but this will be a true favorite, I can tellJungle Love: so many fruity smells come at you oob, it's hard to tell whether or not you are going to like it, I did though! strong, fruity cold and hot throw with a definite coconut kickPink Sugar Type: I fell in love with this straight oob, very strong oob, lighter cold throw and excellent hot throw, haven't tried other pink sugar types, but this one smells deliciousSnozzberry: this is a little overwhelming oob, you can smell a lot of berries with a hint of something you can't quite identify, it does mellow once in wax and has a decent cold and hot throw, not one of my favorites, but definitely a different berry scentVanilla Pear: this is wonderful oob and has a great cold and hot throw, there are equal amounts of vanilla and pear and they seem to balance each other very well, truly a fantastic scentWatercress & Aloe: I thought this would be a little like Green Clover & Aloe, but it's really different, very strong and green oob, knock you over cold and hot throw, maybe decreasing load will give more of a pleasant, clean scent as opposed to a knock-you-over green throwPlease remember these are my own opinions regarding these oils. I'm not trying to offend anyone who may love a particular oil that I don't like. I just want to give my opinion! Quote
Hillary Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 That's interesting about the Jungle Love scent. It's probably just me but oob the first thought I had was "baby asprin". I haven't poured it yet but after reading your take on it I'll give it another try. Quote
