moniek Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 someone wants a pillar candle with their wedding invitation on it. How would I do that? I dont do pillar candles yet, still testing. They wont burn this one so I dont guess that would matter. Any info or input on this? Quote
pdevine Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 You could apply it to the outside with modge podge and then apply some type of flowers or decoration around the edges of the invitation. I do alot of them this way and use the small pearl beading, doves and flowers around it. HTH Portia Quote
gerrie Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 You can also make a copy of the invitation and embed it in the candle. Then you can embelish the candle with pearls and lace. Quote
Trae Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I use sequin pins to pin the invite to the pillar, then hot glue braiding or ric rac around the edges. I also hot glue flowers and gold rings to the corners. I use a tealight at the top of the pillar instead of a wick. You never know who might try to burn it. Quote
