Candle Makin Momma Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 It looks nice The buttons on the left side are a bit busy and hard on the eyes with the pie on there. Also a 1 pint jar is 16 oz not 12 oz.I love the country feel! Quote

sockmonkey Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Question: Why would you have a link to another candle supplier on your site? Quote
hewells Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I think the blue is very hard to read, other then that I like your site. Quote
candlebean Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I agree about the blue text - it was making my eyes buggy and I couldn't even finish reading the whole thing...other than that, I like your setup. Quote
epheme Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 the scent description is very difficult to read as well, with all the different font colors on there! Quote
wvcandleguy Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Question: Why would you have a link to another candle supplier on your site?I have a links directory on my site and being part of the PrimMart community, I link exchange with other candle sites... and I make sure that my link is there or I delete it.... so far everyone there is real good about being truthful about the exchange.... Its just our way of helping eachother out..... just my 2 cents Quote
Michi Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 It looks nice, but I agree the blue writing irritates me eyes. Also, on your critters, I'd want to know how big they are? You show them in the basket, do they come with that? Peeps will think they do unless stated. Otherwise very nice. Quote
karenmimi Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 It is very nice; however, the scent descriptions are hard to read, but the site has nice graphics. Quote
jentlee2 Posted May 9, 2006 Author Posted May 9, 2006 thank you i will change the coloring thank you very much and i do the link exchange thats why there are links on my page thank you for all your help Quote
jentlee2 Posted May 9, 2006 Author Posted May 9, 2006 ok i changed the color to black thank you Quote
stacien Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I like how you personalized it to show you put your heart into each candle you pour. People like to hear that. If you scroll down to the bottom you mispelled whether. Not weather. I garantee someone on this board will pick up on that. Good Luck!! Quote
candlebean Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 One other thing - maybe I missed it, but under your stuffed critters, I only saw a picture of the bunny...do you have pictures of your other critters? Personally, I would never buy anything that I couldn't see first... Quote
jentlee2 Posted May 10, 2006 Author Posted May 10, 2006 we have to more stuff on we arent done yet but thank you Quote
itsmejeffd Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Very nice looking site. I can tell you've put alot of hard work into it. My big question to you is: Do you use Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils? The point is, if you use fragrance oil, you can't call your candles "100% all natural" because they are synthetic. If you only use essential oils, you're good to go. Quote
Darwin Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I agree with most of the other comments -- I just had to chime in to say that I love your colors. Quote
Ashlie K Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Wow I must go to New Egypt and see all these new candlemakers. In the last few weeks, I have seen 2 from this board alone that are located in New Egypt. Quote
Deana_P Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I like it but am just wondering if its just me or should the front be centered there ? I mean where you have all the writing under your heading. Just looks odd to be but it looks clean and inviting. Quote
daniedb Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 It's certainly coming along nicely! You have really been working hard on it. Looks good, I like your country look! I would suggest that before you start advertising it, make sure you get someone to proofread all your pages...I noticed a number of spelling and/or grammatical errors...and someone who is great at that sort of thing would be an asset to you in that area...maybe you can exchange some candles for a thorough proofread and maybe some editing. JCFantasy23 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I would put a space in between the button on the side navigation bar to make it easier reading. This also can stretch it a bit and make it look like even more content. Putting the paragraph code will do it rather than the standard break code....unless it's an image map? If that's the case and you designed the image map yourself it's easy to seperate a bit on a paint program and will happen in a jiffy!I LOVE the top banner - great stuff!!! Gorgeous! On the scent description list, the number code needs to be fixed, after 3 it's justified more to the left side, and there is a minor typing error at the bottom:If you know of a scent you want and don't see please email of call me with request!Should be: email oR call me with A request. The colors are beautiful and I really love the checkered background, great country, warm page!!
