Double Wicking Jars

I am presently testing Metro jars, and I am double wicking them. I am using 4786 and testing with HTP 73 wicks, I am getting an excellent melt pool and scent throw with this combination with Country Berry and Grandma's Kitchen. I should get to my question when double wicking jars what is the distance placed between the 2 wicks? I have my place about 1" apart but looking at pictures of other double wicked jars, the distance looks closer. I know that pictures can be deceiving.

I place my wicks side by side which give you about an inch between wicks at the top of the jar.
